You may have noticed that I added a small google ad on the right of this page. I am currently getting around 1500 unique visitors a month. That isn’t a lot in the Internet scale of things, but I wanted to experiment with revenue generation. Initially, I wanted to be able to cover the costs of hosting this site. However, I found that what’s even more interesting are the types of ads Google decides are appropriate for this site.

Because my blog entries are typically about all different sorts of things, I think Google has a hard time figuring it out. As of today, for example, Google seems to think that this is a plumbing site :)
