		<description>I ordered the components for the server from newegg.com, which has some of the best prices around. I bought a storage rack-mount case from amazon (of all places).

For the software, I ended up going with Unraid (http://lime-technology.com/). After playing with the free version, I bough a pro license, and I am very happy.

I might post a longer entry on it in the future, after I&#039;ve used it for a while longer.</description>
