The site is written at an introductory level, and will focus on simple instructions to get encryption working in your favorite applications. There will also be articles on how encryption is seen from the popular media and Movies and TV, as well as some of the basic theory.

This morning I “widgified” my the right column, so you’ll see some updated and cleaned up items there courtesy of WordPress’s relatively new widget system. I’ve also started using “tags” in addition to “categories,” for labeling posts, and you can see the result in the tag cloud on the right.

Over the next few days, I expect to do a little tweaking, like adding gravatar support in the comments. I eventually do want to do a complete theme overhaul to change the look & feel of the site, but I don’t think I’ll have the time to do that soon. If I wait long enough, someone else will eventually come out with a theme that I like enough to use.

I had taken them down when I switched my site to the new server at ServerPronto. After looking through my server logs, though, it looks like lots of people are still trying to hit them since it is my top 404 error page. Enjoy!

Blinklist is a pretty cool site that lets you keep your bookmarks online. You can access them from any web browser, which is cool by itself. However, the site goes further and lets you do neat social bookmarking things with it. You can tag your links like Flickr (which creates the cloud on the right). It also keeps track of “blinks” on bookmarks, kind of like digg, and you can also subscribe to your friends’ blinks. Neat.

Unfortunately, the Man page lookup, as well as the Restauraunt Maps are still not working. They will be back up soon.

(later): Man pages and the file converter are back up! The restaurant finder still needs an overhaul.

(later still): You know, I’m actually going to take my man page lookup offline. There are plenty of pretty good man page references online. I dont think that I need to keep another one up here. If you think differently, though, leave me a comment here!

(much, much later): Wohoo — the Manhattan Restaurant Finder is working again — and I fixed a few bugs which have been around from the beginning.
